Portreath is a small friendly village nestling in a valley surrounded by National Trust countryside.
Now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its importance during the tin mining industry, with its once busy port bringing in coal and sending tin and minerals around the world. It is now a sleepy port, home to fishing and pleasure boats.
The coast to coast cycle path follows the old tram track once used for transportation from Portreath to Devoran.
Portreath is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall we are approx 20 minutes from Falmouth, Truro & St Ives, 40 minutes from the Eden project & Padstow.
